Scott Leister, CPA, founded Swamp Fox CPA, LLC with a mission to provide qualified tax, accounting, assurance and consulting services to individuals, small businesses, non-profit and local governments. Scott has extensive experience in both public accounting and as a controller for businesses netting more than $250M in revenue.
Before founding his practice, Scott led his previous companies through payroll platform conversion, timekeeping system implementation, employee benefit plan significant error correction, internal control design implementation and operation, bank examination, year end audit and tax service.
Scott’s military career began in 1996 and includes active duty,as well as service in both the Ohio Air National Guard and South Carolina Air National Guard where he has deployed multiple times to Southwest Asia. In fact, the name and logo for Swamp Fox CPA, LLC, is inspired by the South Carolina Air National Guard.
Scott’s career in the military has revolved entirely around aviation. He has been a Crew Chief on B-52s , C-130s, and F-16s.
